How to Draw a Doctor Who Dalek

Artist: Dawn / December 28, 2020

Step 1.

Again, start with the guide shapes and then draw in the facial guidelines for the robot's face.

Step 2.

Begin drawing the top portion of the Dalek's head, and then draw the optical part of it's design.

Step 3.

You will draw the lenses that run across the face like so. There are three rows with four beams in a row. Color them in and add the indent lines on the cover.

Step 4.

Make a line across the mid seck of the Delek. Under that line draw the shapes that resemble eggs for the lights.

Step 5.

Draw the outlined shape of the body and then proceed on.

Step 6.

You can now draw the sections of lights or areas on the body and then draw a protruding rod which acts as the arm.

Step 7.

Draw the mechanical claw.

Step 8.

Draw the bottom of the Delek and then add the rest of the detailing. Erase the mistakes and guides to clean up the art.

Step 9.

You are done and the drawing is ready to be colored in. I hope you enjoyed this lesson.
