How to Draw a Dark Anime Angel

Begin by drawing the head and torso guides like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Up next, draw in the shape of the angel's face like so, and then begin drawing the bangs and some of the hair that brushes the sides of the angel's face.

Up next, you will sketch out all of her long flowing hair which is just in consistent motion. Add detailing throughout the hair like you see here.

Now all you have to do is draw the long, big eyes. Make sure that the tops of the lids are colored dark and thick. Draw the nose and mouth, then sketch in the eyebrows.

You will now draw the neck shape and then sketch out the shoulders. The shoulders should have puffy sleeves and pleats within the cuffs.

Draw the torso and then add the collar line for the dress as well as the arms which are crossed over one another. She is wearing gloves that go all the way up the arm.

Begin sketching out her wing which is roughly drawn out but also very detailed.

Lastly, draw in the other wing or tip of the wing I should say. Add detailing to the feathers and wing, then erase whatever mistakes you might have made as well as the guides.

When all is said and done you will end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Color her in and you are done.

Description: Keeping up with the dark theme I want to upload this lesson on a concept that I've been working on for a couple days. Here is another angel and with that said, we will learn "how to draw a dark anime angel", step by step.I put a lot of thought into this lesson so it should be a hit with all you angel/anime fans out there. I mean how many times can you think of new ideas to make angel drawings anyway? I guess a lot because I have made a bunch of different ones.
