How to Draw a Church

Step 1.


To start, draw the beginning shapes of the church like you see here and when you are done, you can move to step two.

Step 2.


Sketch out the shape of your church starting at the base, and then draw a triangular shaped top like so. At this point the church looks like a lighthouse.

Step 3.


The first thing you need to do here is draw the defining line on the side of the church to make it look dimensional. When that is done, draw in the window, windowsill, and then draw out the arched doorway. Next, draw the cross at the top of the churc   

Step 4.


As you can see you are now on step four. You will be drawing out more of the church's structure by making a smaller enclosure like you see here. Be sure that the roof is nicely drawn in, and when you have finished this step, you can draw in the doors   

Step 5.


You are only two steps away from completion. The only thing you need to do here is draw or sketch in all the shingles you see on the roof, and make some nice border or trim.

Step 6.


Sketch in some shrubs in the front of the church, and then draw in two round windows for the front, and three arched windows along the side of the church's structure. Erase all the lines and shapes that you drew in step to clean up the drawing.

Step 7.


This is what your church should come out looking like when you are all done. Now you can have fun coloring it in, to complete the drawing. I hope you liked this tutorial, now you can move onto something else.

Description: Hey guys, welcome back to Dragoart where the fun never ends. Today I am going to fill another request, and this time it's going to be on something really cool. I haven't uploaded anything on structures or buildings lately, so when I came across this request I thought it was a really cool idea so I went ahead and made the tutorial as soon as I could. Today I will be teaching you guys "how to draw a church", step by step and the great part is, it's going to be a very simple structure to make. As you know there is many different types of churches for all sorts of religions. There is about four common religions that most people are familiar with and or believe in that I know of and that is; Catholic, Christian, Muslim, and Judaism. I'm not going to get into the whole religion thing because I'm no expert on any of them including my religion from being a Christian. With me I believe in God, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and if I believe in these three concepts, that means I believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. Anyways I had great fun making church and turning it into a tutorial. It is going to be easy to replicate, and when you are done you can even use the drawing for Easter fun. I mean, anyone who celebrates Easter must go to church too right? Well I guess that's it, have fun drawing a church, and remember to keep those requests coming in.
