Step 1.
This is a very easy tutorial on how to draw a cartoon fish. All you need to do first is draw a circle for the fishes head and then draw the shape of the fishes body. At this point it looks like a slab of a ham thigh.

You will now start sketching out the actual shape of the fishes head and open friendly smiling mouth. Next draw out the fin you see here and be sure to sketch in the detailing fin lines.

Step 3.
You will now draw out the easy looking eyes for your cartoon fish which are smaller circles. You will also need to draw in the pupils and color them in as well. Add some detailing to the fishes face to make him/her more happy and then draw out the ey
ebrows. Lastly draw out the tail fin which looks like a fan and then add the defining lines as well.

Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do now is draw the top and bottom fin design as you see here. Add some detailing and then you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description:
More cartoons for you all and this time you will learn "
how to draw a cartoon fish
", step by step. Cartoon animals and creatures can be very easy to draw because they are big, bold and very circular at times. The fish I will be giving you all a lesson on is a salt water species and they are called “blue tang”. You may notice that this particular fish looks a lot like the fish from Finding Nemo, and if you thought that, than you are right. I figured the best cartoon fish to do a tutorial on has to be of simple shape, and the fins have to be pretty wide and easy to draw. Dory is probably my favorite character through the whole movie and I think it has a lot to do with her voice actress “Ellen DeGeneres” because she has an incredible extreme comical sense of humor. Anyway I think you will find this fishy fish a very easy sea animal to draw and I hope I see it uploaded to your artwork section soon from one of you artists out there. I have to go because now I am getting tired. I still have two more lessons that I need to submit so try and stay tuned in for those. Peace out and happy drawing.
