How to Draw a Caged Heart
2
Start drawing the rib cage over the left side of the heart. This will be a bone covered shell with a ridged outer lining.
3
Next, draw the right side of the shell or outer bone cage using the same drawing technique you did previously.
4
To add the cage effect, draw the holes to form a rib cage. Some of the slits are wider then others, and some are narrower then others.
6
Add all sorts of pulsing veins that covers the heart along the outer lobes. When the detailing is done you can erase the mistakes.

Description: Okay guys, I have some simple but fun tuts on the way so let me start with a heart concept. Here is "how to draw a caged heart", step by step. As you can see the heart is caged with extremely hard ribs that cover almost the entire heart. This cages heart is supposed to represent being trapped within a certain love. This could be a tortured love, a love that grapples you from the inside out, or a love that has gone too long without being mended. Anyways, I don't want to keep talking about nonsense when it comes to drawing another heart so I will leave you to the task of drawing a caged heart with your own interpretation on what it's supposed to mean. Thanks guys and have fun.
