Description: Happy Easter everybody! I hope everyone is enjoying this religious holiday that many people celebrate. I drew some awesome lessons today and I can’t wait to submit them all. Now, before I can do that though I have to finish putting up the tutorials that I didn't do the other day. For my first lesson I will be showing you "how to draw Spock" from Star Trek step by step. I know that most of you know who Captain Spock is. He is a good friend to James T. Kirk and Leonard H. McCoy who is the doctor on the USS Enterprise. Spock’s full name is just simply Spock. He is half human from his mother’s side. His mother was a school teacher from earth named Amanda Grayson, and his father was from the planet Vulcan. Spock’s father was a very well respected diplomat who went by the Vulcan name Sarek. He was born in 2230 in Shi’Kahr, Vulcan and for most of his childhood years up until he was an adult he struggled between the two halves that he was. For Spock, dealing with his emotion human side was very difficult for him. His human mother tried to teach him about emotions, love, and compassion while his father structured his life in a very stern form of Vulcan way of life. Spock was absolutely one of my favorite characters in the Star Trek series. His hand jester that became so popular with fans really made him a noted character. He would lift his hand and make a “V” like sign by connecting the index and middle finger together, and then the ring and baby finger together. He would greet or say good-bye with the phrase “Live long and prosper”. Another distinguishing thing about Spock that made him well recognized was his pointed Vulcan ears. Not only did his name make him stand out, there was the way he looked, acted, treated people, and how he almost seemed like he had no emotion at times. Those of you that are familiar with Star Trek know that he sacrificed himself to save the lives of the crew aboard the Enterprise. One of my favorite episodes was when Spock dressed and acted like a gangster. Another role that Spock played was the cold conscience of Captain Kirk and McCoy would be the more logical compassionate voice for Kirk. Though Spock and McCoy were good friends, they often had arguments about the littlest things. The last known whereabouts of Spock was when he left to planet Romulus. This tutorial will show you "how to draw Spock step by step". I laid out the steps so that Spock and his body will be easy to learn how to draw with this free online drawing lesson. Most of the information I read on Spock came directly from the Star Trek webiste and if you want to read more on this famed character just click here. Peace peeps and happy drawing.
