How to Draw Shido Itsuka from Date A Live

Step 1.


Draw the circle for his head, then draw in the two blocks for the torso and hip area. Add the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.

Step 2.


Draw the shape of the head, then sketch in the sharp pointed bangs, and add the detailing to his hair as well.

Step 3.


Sketch out the shape of the face, then draw in the eyes, eyebrows, and lastly the nose and mouth.

Step 4.


Draw Shido's skinny neck, then draw in the shirt collar, tie, and the bottom part of his suit jacket. Don't forget to draw in the pocket and stripes on his tie.

Step 5.


You will now draw the shoulders, arms and his one visible hand. When that is done you can draw the flaps for the suit jacket, then add the wrinkles, folds and creases on the sleeves.

Step 6.


You will now draw the vest under his suit jacket which is pretty long, then draw in the one button. You will then draw the legs which are pressed together, then draw in the pleats to his pants as well.

Step 7.


For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw the patch on his jacket, then draw in the three buttons. Erase whatever mistakes you made, then erase the guidelines and shapes.

Step 8.


When all is said and done, your drawing of Shido from Date A Live should look like the image you see here.

Up next and lastly for this anime series, I will show you "how to draw Shido Itsuka", step by step. Shido is as you know the main protagonist of the series for both the anime and manga. He has an odd power to lets him seal powers of spirits in his body just by kissing. The catch to this ability is the fact that the power only works if the spirit has enough affection and trust for him. If they do, the kiss will be effective and he will have sealed their powers within himself. Drawing Shido will be fun and easy, or easier than the last anime you have been drawing.
