How to Draw Scrooge, Ebenezer Scrooge

Step 1.


Make the guidelines and shapes for the building blocks of Scrooge. There should be a circle for the head, and guidelines for the limbs and body.

Step 2.


Use the head guide to start drawing out the face. Begin by making a long full shaped chin, followed by the frowned mouth. You will then draw the broad shaped nose and then his grumpy eyes. Be sure to get the expression right on his face as well. Sket   

Step 3.


Finish the face by drawing the ears and some of the cheek lining. When that is done you draw the hair line and then his hair. Add the sleeping cap too.

Step 4.


Go ahead and give Scrooge a neck and shirt collar for his pajamas.

Step 5.


You can draw the shoulders and then the semi long sleeves. Add detailing to the clothing too.

Step 6.


Okay. You are almost done so let's start drawing the arms and hands. You will then draw the candle which is lit and be sure to add the melted wax streaming down the candle. Oh yeah, add some hair on his arms too.

Step 7.


For the last step just finish the body which is in the form of a nightgown. You will draw some of the legs which is almost completely covered by the nightgown, then draw the feet which are in loosely fitted socks. Erase the mistakes and guides too.

Step 8.


There you have it. A great drawing of Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Color him in and add a background.

Description: So here is a lesson that I couldn't find anywhere on the web. A drawing tutorial that shows you how to draw Scrooge, step by step. I don't know why this wouldn't be something that people would make as a tut. I mean he is an iconic character for the Holiday season. I'm sure almost every home has watched A Christmas Carol at some point in their lives and because of this I thought this age old character deserved to have a lesson made about him. As you can see this won't be anything too complicated to tackle. All you have to do is follow the steps and you should be able to draw your very own Scrooge as well.
