How to Draw Sally Easy

Artist: Dawn / May 8, 2012

Step 1.

You will start this lesson the same way you begin others. Draw the shape of the head guide. As you can see here Sally's head is formed like a acorn.

Step 2.

Next, draw in Sally's big bold eyes. The thick, thick lining should be drawn the same way you see here. Add some stubby lashes as well as her nose, and a stitch or seam line.

Step 3.

Color in two pupils, as well as a nostril hole. Next, draw Sally's lips and or mouth, then draw the seam line that starts from each corner of her mouth. You will need to add the stitch lines that are placed vertically on her seam line.

Step 4.

Next thing you will need to do is draw the first two lines to create Sally's rag-doll style hair. Her hair seems to be like yarn so keep that in mind when adding detailing in later steps.

Step 5.

Finish drawing her hair by adding yard strands. When that is done all you have to do is draw in Sally's skinny neck. When you're done erase the lines and mistakes that you may have made.

Step 6.

Here is Sally when you are done. Now you can color her in to her specifications.

Description: Well guys, here is another familiar face that will go nicely with the Jack Skellington lesson I submitted earlier. This rag-doll is the love interest of Jack, but before he even noticed her beauty, she fell in love with him first. Of course I'm talking about Sally, so here is "how to draw Sally easy", step by step. I wanted to make a real simple version of Sally because I know there are a lot of folks that love her character even if she is a bit whiny. Instead of making the clay version of Sally, I went ahead and recreated her in a comic book style. This way you not only have the enjoyment of drawing Sally easy, you also have the colorful display or color scheme to follow when you begin adding color to your finished drawing. Anyways, I have to bail out of here because there are still two more submissions I want to get uploaded before I start my drawing day again. If you love aliens, you will definitely love what's coming your way. Peace people and enjoy!
