Go ahead and start with the guidelines and shapes for the framework for your cartoon character.

Next, use the head guide to draw out the shape of the head and face like so. This includes the ears too. When that is done draw in the unicorn horn.

We will now draw in Felicity's eyes which are big, catty and bold. Her lashes are thick and long and the eyes are big and bright. When that is done you can draw in the heart shaped nose, the brows and mouth. Add the detailing inside the ear too.

Next, draw the outline for the butterfly wings.

Add the design to the butterfly wings.

Lastly, draw in Felicity's body and be sure to draw out that long puffy tail. Erase any mistakes and all the guidelines to clean up the drawing.
