Okay, start with some parenthesis.

Okay, now put like, these lines around for the beginning of the ears.

Now you can add the ears.

Now add some curves for the beginning of the tail.

Now add more curves for more of the tail.

Now add another curve to make the tail look curly.

Now add the little spikes on his/her tail.

Now start making the face and the markings. Add the paws.

Add the eyes and the mouth and the nose.
