1

First, draw the basic shapes that will create the whole of Oxnard. Guidelines should be drawn proportionally in the middle of the circle to accentuate accurate positions of the facial features.

2

Then, draw the beginning features of the face. This will include drawing the eyes, nose, and the upside down “3” below the nose. Note: the circles at the lower edges of the eyes are merged with the color of the hamster.

3

Next, draw the edges of the face to enclose the facial features. It's best to draw the head first and proceed onto the rest of the body. Add two lines on each side of the cheeks to create whiskers. This gives Oxnard a subtle effect for less details.

4

This step is simple enough to accomplish. Draw the large sunflower seed and the hands that bare it. Don't forget to overlay the teeth on the seed.

5

Lastly, finish off the legs of Oxnard. This should be very simple because of the small – delicate feet and curvy hind legs.

6

Once finished, your drawing of Oxnard should look similar to the line art you see before you. Drawing Oxnard can be easy once you've practice numerous times. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, thanks for viewing!

Description: Hey fellow artists and visitors, today I have a fun lesson to submit on something that was requested by a member. This tutorial will be based on an adorable character that's constantly eating sunflower seeds. Of course you'll realize that hamsters can look so adorable that they're just too hard to resist drawing! Learning ”how to draw Oxnard” is not so adorable if your a beginner at drawing Hamtaro characters. If you're not so keen on drawing chibi animal type eyes, then venture over to the ”Anime Animals” category. Practicing makes yourself better every try so keep practicing the huge selection of anime animals tutorials. Anywho, I'm not so familiar with Oxnard, but I assume he's a popular Hamtaro character. To ”draw Oxnard”, you'll need to practice the rather plump bodies that these cute creatures carry around. I would always start off by drawing a large circular base for the head and body prior to drawing the actual details. Once you've gotten the shape of the head intact, you'll have to start drawing the eyes. Creating a background for Oxnard was fairly easy to accomplish. He has a yellowish white hue to his base tone with desaturated blue markings that accent him. Finish the markings last so you'll be able to erase mishaps beforehand. Believe me, you don't want to be trapped with drawing spots once you've realized that there is a mistake. It's like shading a picture with graphic while realizing that there's a mistake with the base drawing. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this tutorial; I've been very frustrated due to my lack of internet and computer usage. I'll be back online with everyone on Tuesday evening or morning. Thanks for viewing and have fun!
