How to Draw Kid Trunks
1
Let's get started with some pretty basic guidelines and shapes. Start with the shape for his head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then need to draw out the torso frame, and then draw the outline of his legs, boots, and arms.
2
Before you get his hair style sketched out, let's draw the shape of Trunks' face first. One his sharp face structure is done, you can then begin sketching out his very straight, and short hairstyle. Be sure to add some texture lines at the ends of hi

You can now sketch out the eyebrows, eyes, and detail the inside of the ear. Once that is done add more definition to his bangs, and then draw out the shape of his neck. The last thing that we want to do to Trunks, is begin sketching out the top part

Finish sketching out Trunks' arm and make sure to add the proper amount of detailing to texture his muscle tone. Draw the wristband, and then draw out his sash or belt that is tied in a knot around his waist. Add some crease or fold detailing right w

You are almost done with this lesson, and to bring yourself even closer, sketch out the remaining part of his Gi which is the pants. Once that is done you have to add the fold and crease lines as you see here to make his clothing look baggy from the

All you have to do now is draw out his golden boots that he wears almost all of the time, and then when this is done you can add detailing to them as they appear throughout the series. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to

Description: It's been a while since I drew and submitted characters from DBZ. Yesterday I didn't work, but on Saturday I drew out five tutorials and today I will submit them all. I will start off by teaching you guys “how to draw Kid Trunks”, step by step. I don't know but, I think the only reason why he is called Kid Trunks is because of the two video games “Budokai” and “Budokai Tenkaichi”. Other then that, I have no real idea why Trunks is called Kid Trunks. If you know then by all means let me know. I haven't watched DBZ in so long, but I still remember the characters. I know that Trunks is the son to Vegeta and Bulma. Bulma is the chic with the turquoise colored hair, and the very friendly face. Trunks has been a reconized character ever since he was born and used to sit on Vegeta's back when he was a baby. Since he was born to Vegeta, and Bulma, that makes him a half breed. What I mean by that is he is half human and half Saiyan. I know some say that Trunks looks like his mother, and the ones that say that is right. But what I don't get is how his hair came out to be like a lavender color when Bulma's hair color is a shade of green, and Vegeta's is black. Anyway, I have always liked Trunks, and since I can draw way better now, my Dragonball Z characters come out looking more detailed, colored properly, and even portioned. The Trunks I drew wears a dark green colored Gi with an orange belt or sash, orange wrist bands, and golden boots. The boots are actually the same ones that Future Trunks wears. Now that would be an interesting character to draw because Future Trunks looks like a cross between Indiana Jones, and Marty Mcfly. This DBZ character has a bunch of abilities and I will try top remember them all, ki blast, super saiyan, kamehameha, big tree cannon, fusion dance, this is when he fuses with Goten and becomes Gotenks, buster cannon, super explosive wave, and I'm pretty sure there are a few more abilities that I failed to list, but I know there is like two or three more. Anyways, this lesson on “how to draw Kid Trunks” is a tutorial request, as all the lessons that I'm submitting today are. I do hope you have fun with this tutorial, and you obviously know that I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun. Peace out peeps, and happy drawing!
