How to Draw Gouenji, Inazuma Eleven

Start out by drawing the shape of the face like so, then the hair line which is a bit jagged.

Next, draw three thick hair chunks which are supposed to be the spiked bangs.

Add two more spiked pieces of hair on the sides of the head, then draw the shape of the ears.

In the middle top of the head, draw another layer of spiked hair chunks to complete Gouenji's hairstyle.

Sketch in some detailing or texture definition to the hair like you see here. Also detail inside of his ears too.

Now we can move on to drawing the eyes. Start with the brows, then move to step seven.

Now you can draw the shapes of each eye. Notice that there are gaps on the inner corners, this is how the character is created. Add a nose and a single lined mouth in the form if a smirk.

We can draw the skinny neck shape like so, then draw the shoulders, shirt collar and and rest of the torso shape.

Finish off this character by drawing the pin stripe lines down the shoulders and arms or sleeves like so, then draw in the symbol of his soccer team's logo. Don't forget to create arms too before you erase your mistakes.

Description: I really don't know much about this character because this is the first time I'm hearing about Inazuma Eleven. I'm only uploading a couple characters from the series because they were requested so let's start with drawing Gouenji Shuuya, step by step. I know he has a long name, but I didn't make it up. He is the main figure of the series and is part of the Raimon soccer club. I;m guess he plays soccer since he is part of a soccer club. Anyways, this is my first time drawing a Inazuma Eleven character so if I've made mistakes don't hold it against me. Nonetheless, have fun with drawing Gouenji and I will prepare my next lesson.
