How to Draw Dark Eyes

Start with some basic guidelines like you see here.

Next, use the guidelines to draw in the catty shapes or look of the eyes like so.

You will now finish the actual eye shapes and then draw in the pupils and iris'.

Create the top lids as well as the lashes.

Now to create that dark expression, draw in thin eyebrows that arch high and are raised at the ends.

Lastly, draw in the black tears that are streaming down the face followed by the inner parts of the nose between the eyes. When that is done add the small feather like pieces or speckles scattered around the sides of the face like so.

Here is what the dark eyes look like without color just as a digital sketched image. You can see how intense the stare is as you keep looking into those dark eyes.

Description: I have another awesome eye lesson for all you folks out there that love drawing eyes. Today I have how to draw Dark eyes, step by step. These eyes are a bit creepy, but beautiful at the same time. A lot of thought and work went into the design of these eyes which in the end came out to be a finished painted piece of work that I am very proud of. The Rainbow eyes and these Gothic eyes are probably two of my favorite eye lessons that I have done, ever. I love how the black tears flow down the face as small feathers seem to dance around the face as well. If you have been waiting for dark eyes like these, wait no longer because they are now here.
