How to Draw Chocolat, Chocolat from Sugar Sugar Rune

Step 1.


You will need to make a shape for the head guide, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Here you will sketch out the shape of the actual face structure like so, and when you do this add some of the hair line that is pulled or combed back in the center of the head.

Step 3.


Next, use the facial guidelines to draw in her bog expressive eyes, then draw in the eyebrows, nose and mouth in the form of a smirking grin.

Step 4.


Color in the pupils and or eyeballs like so, then add some pretty long lashes.

Step 5.


We will work on Chocolat's hair now. Draw the puffy cap which is standing high in the center of her head. From the top of the hair stem, draw a thin style ponytail that is held with an elastic in the shape of a heart. Draw the side pieces of her hair   

Step 6.


Continue to work on her hair by drawing the rest of the length which should fall on past her shoulders. Draw in the right shoulder like so, then some of the left side of her body.

Step 7.


For your last drawing step all you need to do is draw in the shape of her skinny neck, then draw out the collar of her coat as well as the opening. Add some creases and folds to her clothes like so, and give her an ear. Add detailing throughout where   

Step 8.


Here is what your character looks like when you are all done. Now grab some of your coloring tools to shade her in.

Description: I have one more anime figure to upload and she is from a show called Sugar Sugar Rune. I will be uploading a lesson on the main figure from the anime and or manga. Here is "how to draw Chocolat", step by step. I'm not going to make believe that I know what the series is about, so I had to actually read up a little to find out the story line. The series follows two best friends named Chocolat Meilleure and Vanilla Mieux. They are a couple of young witches that travel around in Magical World. They journey out into the world to find human boys so they can collect their human hearts. They do this because they where chosen as a pair to compete in a contest. Things soon take on a different meaning and as the story progresses, Chocolate and her best friend Vanilla must find a way to remain friends through the turbulence and struggles put on them from competing to see who will become the next queen of the Magical World. You will be drawing Chocolate, and despite her name, she has long red colored hair and a very baby like face. The lesson should be simple which means you will enjoy this tut.
