How to Draw Chibi Tails

1

Start off by drawing out a medium sized circle for the head of Tails. When that is done draw in a small body and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

You will focus on the top portion of Tails' head starting with the big fox ears, and the marking lines that separates the lower portion of the face from the top part of the face.

3

Using the facial guidelines that you drew in step one, begin sketching out the big eyes, and eyeballs of Tails' face. Next, give him his signature fuzz on his forehead, and then draw in the eyebrows and inner ear detailing.

4

Now you can draw out the lower part of chibi Tails' face like so and don't forget to draw in that fuzz at the ends of the cheeks.

5

Color in a narrow nose, and then draw out the mouth like so. That's it for this step move to the next.

6

It's time to get busy drawing out the body starting with the fluffy collar. Once that is done you can draw out the upper body, and then Tails' legs and feet.

7

Make the marking lining for Tails' stomach like so, and then draw in some cuffs for the shoes like so. The cuffs should almost look like the base of a glove.

8

Almost done guys, just a little more ways to go. Here all you have to do is draw out chibi Tails' small short arms and tiny hands.

9

Draw out the thick double tails and be sure to add those parted fluff tips.

10

Sketch in the tail tip lines like so, and then begin erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one for clean up of this chibi character.

11

Here is what chibi Tails looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in to finish this tutorial on how to draw chibi Tails.

Description: When did you ever think that you would come across a lesson on such a cute character from the Sonic game series. I have done pretty much all of the popular characters from Sonic in chibi form, but I did realize that I forgot one major player that is loved and adored. I welcome you to a fun tutorial on "how to draw chibi Tails", step by step. I literally can't believe I never did this lesson before. I totally forgot all about Tails, and I don't know how I could have even done that seeing how he is one of the major figures from Sonic. Tails is without a doubt an older addition to the roster, which means he beats out Shadow and Amy Rose because they where created some years after Tails came along. As a matter of fact, Tails made his first appearance in Sonic 2 back in 1992, and Shadow came along in 2001. Anyways, now that you know some of Tails history, what do you say that we get started with this tutorial and get busy learning "how to draw chibi Tails"? That just about does it for this tutorial description, I hope you like what you see folks, be sure to submit your finished art when you are all done. Peace people and enjoy the rest of your drawing day!
