How to Draw Chibi Lumpy, Heffalump

Begin the first step by drawing the two shapes that will make up Lumpy's body. These shapes are for the head and body. Sketch in the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.

On the right side draw in Lumpy's floppy ear. Notice the edge for the ear has grooves. You will then draw in the side of the cheek or trunk.

Using the head guide define the shape of the head and create the trunk. Notice how the trunk curls in at the end. Also draw the other elephant ear.

Here is the peak of the lesson because this is the best part. You will draw in Lumpy's face. Make the stitched seam line down the forehead and trunk like so, then draw and color in the small beady eyes. Once that is done give Lumpy some eyebrows, cre

Draw in Lumpy's back line and then add the thigh and back foot. Also make the beginnings to the front leg.

Finish the drawing the front legs and then give Lumpy a puffy tail. I know elephants don't have fluffy tails, but this is a Heffalump.

Lastly draw in chibi Lumpy's toes and then add the foot padding line and finally a stitch at the butt. Erase your mistakes and you are all done.

Here is the line art. Now you can color in Lumpy the way you like but make sure to use his signature shades.

Description: I might as well go all out and upload more tutorials on some other Winnie the Pooh characters in chibi form. I will start with this cute little elephant who touched the hearts of millions when he first made an appearance on the screen. Anyways, here is "how to draw chibi Lumpy", and Lumpy is the Heffalump from Winnie the Pooh and friends. Lumpy is an adorable purple colored elephant. Heffalumps where created to resemble Indian Elephants, and I think they did a good job with their character formation. Drawing chibi Lumpy the Heffalump will be both easy and fun. I know not a lot of people requested him, but I think he will still be enjoyed.
