1

Start by drawing some simple shapes and lines to form a workable frame for your gun. Start by drawing the butt or handle of the weapon, and then draw a rectangular shape for the barrel. Add an inner guideline like you see here.

2

Begin sketching out the very shape of the guns design. Start off slow so you end up with a nice gun design. You will now draw out the hammer, and then make the barrel look more straight edged, and sharp like you see here.

3

Now before you draw the rest of the barrel, you will need to draw the round design of the guns chamber. This is where the rounds sit in. When that is done, you can finish drawing the barrel, and then make a round tip at the front of the gun.

4

Draw in the chamber's design by adding notches on outside of the magazine or chamber like so, and then add the six small colored in circles which is the housing area for each bullet. Next, draw the finger guard, and then the trigger.

5

For your last drawing step, all you have to do is color the void at the tip of the barrel, and then add some design to the guns handle. When you are done, you can start erasing all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

6

When you are done, your easy gun should come out looking like the one you see here. Color it in, and then you are done. Now that you just learned how to draw an easy gun, you can use what you learned in your next character drawing.

Description: Who here wants a lesson on another cool looking gun that resembles one of the most popular revolvers ever made? If you are raising your hand, you should already know that I too have my hand held high. Today I thought I would start the day by showing you "how to draw an easy gun", step by step. Now there is so many different types of guns in existence, and out of all those guns, I have a few that I have on my favorites list. To start, one of my favorite handguns is the .44 magnum, and that is actually the gun I chose to use for this easy drawing lesson. Another favorite gun of mine is the Russian made AK-47, my grandfather’s Wetherby 7mm long range riffle, and of course the 9mm Glock 17. I chose to do a magnum that has a six bullet chamber, and I also decided to draw it to be on an angle. Almost like the gun is nearly pointing at you at close range. Anyways, I think you will like this lesson that teaches you to draw an easy gun. I have to go right now because I’m trying to get all the submissions up before I go live tonight. I don’t want to be backed up for days on end. I will come back to this tutorial a bit later in the day to fill in some stuff I want to talk about. For now, enjoy the lesson, and be sure to stick around to see what else I have up my artistic sleeve. Bye everyone!
