How to Draw Allen Gregory, Allen Gregory

Okay lets begin. Start by making a large circle for the head and then add the facial guides. End this step by making a middle body guide like so, and move to step two.

Using the head guide that you just made, begin sketching out the shape of the head and or hairstyle, and be sure to include that odd bump on the left side of the head. Next, sketch out the shape of the face and then draw in the ears.

The first thing you will do here is draw out the block shaped eye glasses, and when doing this be sure to apply heavy pressure on your stroke to make the frames bold and dark. Draw in his child like eyes and then add the eyebrows.

Sketch in his bangs that fall on his forehead and then move along to sketching out the mouth and nose. Add those curves on the cheeks to make his face look chubby.

Draw the shape of the neck and then draw in the V shaped collar which he wears so neatly. Draw the flower that he wears on the right side of the jacket.

Now finally for the last drawing step all you have to do is sketch out the shoulders and then follow the lining to form the arms. Draw the flaps on the suit jacket and then clean up the drawing.

Everything is all done. The last thing to do is color Allen in and then add him to your drawing book collection. I had fun did you?

Description: Like I said in one of the previous lessons, here is the second installment of a character from the new FOX series, Allen Gregory. Besides Jeremy De Longpre, I will show you "how to draw Allen Gregory", step by step. He is the main character or figure from the series and unlike most seven year olds; he is definitely an old soul. He has the wits of and intelligence of someone much older than he is. Allen is sophisticated, smart, very artistic and wildly romantic. Allen is very close with his dad Richard, but sometimes having a bond with your father can be annoying to no end of there is someone that is always interrupting the two when they try and hang out. Jonah Hill provides the voice talent for Allen, and even though I have never seen the series, I’m sure he does a great job seeing how Jonah is already so funny. Anyways, I guess that is all I have to say about this submission’s description. I will let you guys get busy as you begin drawing Allen Gregory in your own way.
