How to Draw a Stocking

Drawing a stocking is really simple, and it can be done in less than five steps. Start by drawing the outlined shape of the stocking as you see here. First draw a narrow looking oval shape and then draw the side and tops of the stocking. Lastly draw

You will now draw out teh shape and style of the stocking in more detail as you see here and then draw the white tip marking line at the foot of the stocking.

Now for your third step, draw the folded cuff for the top of the stocking as you see here and then begin filling your Christmas sock with all sorts of goodies. I drew a bear, candy cane, and presents.

Okay this is your last drawing step. Draw in the face for the teddy bear and then draw in a small cute little present. When that is done you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Since Christmas is almost here I decided to do another lesson on a very much used object that is a part of Christmas tradition. So having said that, let me show you "how to draw a stocking step by step”. I know what your thinking, “you already have a lesson on a Christmas stocking”? And your right, I do. But because I love this jolly holiday so much, I wanted to spend the next day or two drawing Christmas stuff for all of you to enjoy. Even if you have no desire to draw a stocking, you will when Christmas draws a little near than it is now. Stocking are found early Christmas morning filled with all kinds of goodies like candy, toys, trinkets, and games. One of the best parts of getting a stocking filled present, is the variety of gifts inside. I filled this stocking with a teddy bear, a candy cane, and a nice wrapped present. You can decorate and color your stocking any shade or design you wish, mine is just a typical looking red and white sock.
