How to Draw a Shotgun

Description: Who here is a big fan of the Evil Dead movies? Well I know that I am a huge fan and all three movies were awesome, especially Army of Darkness, that was great. Another awesome movie that I am a big fan of stars and Australian actor that goes by the name of Mel Gibson, and one of the movies that I am fond of that he stars in is Mad Max. Both of the main characters in both of those movies are wicked. First you have Ash (Bruce Campbell), a cocky store salesman and associate that travels through a portal back in time. He lands in the time of the Dark Ages and is at first seen as one of Henry the Reds army, so he is shackled and brought back inside the castle walls. Later in the movie he is seen defeating these possessed demon like creatures in a huge hole filled with water and sewage. After he battles and kills the demons, he pulls himself up to level ground and goes off. He pulls out his weapon that rest in a pouch on his back which is a double barrel sawed off shotgun probably the only awesome weapon in the movie. After he blows away the demon that followed him up to the top, he explains to the people to keep their hands off of him or they will have to answer to his boom stick. Then you have Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson) who plays a father and husband that is out with his family. After his best friend, wife and baby are killed by a biker gang member named Nightrider, he makes his fight with them personal. The movie is really about how the normality of a man who had everything to live for, slips into a world of madness as he seeks revenge for the death of his family. Mad Max is also equipped with a double barrel sawed off shotgun. The reason why I spoke of these two movies is because this tutorial is on how to draw a double barrel sawed off shotgun. The sawed off shotgun is nothing more than a regular sized shotgun (typically a 12 gauge) that is modified by sawing off the butt and stock as well as the barrel to form a compact size. There are different types of shotguns that load and fire in different ways. First you have the breech loading shotgun followed by the double, pump bolt and lever action, the semi-automatic and they even come in fully-automatic variants as well. When a shotgun is fired, the shotgun pellets spread as soon as it leaves the barrel. Many hunters use shotguns while out on a hunt and they are typically used for turkeys, birds, hogs, and sometimes deer. The fame and popularity of this gun is wide spread through out main stream media and commonly used as a prop in many movies as a primary weapon. I had fun drawing out this gun because it reminded me of two of my favorite movies. I will teach you how to draw a 12 gauge double barrel sawed off shotgun step by step.
