Step 2.
Here you will sketch out the exact tear drop shape of the lemon, and then move to the last drawing step.

Step 3.
Add some detailing or ribs for the leaves and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare this drawing for a bright yellow coloring job.

Step 4.
Your finished drawing comes out looking like this when you're done. See how easy it was drawing a lemon? If you want to turn it into a chibi fruit, then just add some chibi eyes.

Description:
Remember yesterday when I submitted that drawing lesson on a sweet fruit called the pineapple? Well, this next tutorial is going to be on something bitter, “
how to draw a lemon, step by step
”. Lemons are probably one of the more sour fruits besides the lime. A great thing about these small foods is that they smell absolutely amazing, and have such an awesome taste when turned into lemonade by mixing the lemon juice with sugar and water. I like to cut up a few pieces and throw it in the mixed solution to add more of a zesty taste and smell. Another great thing about the lemon is that it adds an awesome zingy taste when squeezed on seafood like fish, lobster, and other food from the sea. Because of their high acidity level, the juice from one of these bitter fruits can actually cook certain fish when they are left marinating for a 24 hour period. I thought that it would be a fun idea to show you “
how to draw a lemon
” because there is only a few months left summer arrives which means many days of buying frozen lemonade. As you can imagine this tutorial is extremely simple, and maybe I will do a lesson on a lime just to pair up with this one. Think citrus when you draw yours, and also try and imagine how they smell even with their skins on. Peace out guys, and happy drawing!
