How to Draw a Handgun

This is a drawing of the Glock and as you can see I pointed to some parts of the gun. Number one is a drawing of the slide stop lever. Number two is the release button that you push in to discard the magazine, and number three is of the finger groove

Another diagram of the Glock from a front view. First you can see the canal of the barrel, and then you have the gas chamber. Next is what the release button looks like from the front, and the grooves for the hand grip.

Now lets draw the handgun. Start by making the shape of the guns slide like you see here which is an oblong shape.

Using the slide shape, begin sketching out the actual outline of the handgun like you see here. Take your time so you get nice even lines.

Continue to draw out the gun until the handle is drawn in, and then draw out the actual separation line of the slide.

Draw out the notch for the barrel, and then draw in the front site, and back site like you see here. Draw in the six grooves on the back of the Glock's slide, and then draw in the G which stands for Glock. Add some detailing line on the front of the

Next, sketch out the actual hole for where the trigger will go, and then draw in the slide stop lever, and then make sure to sketch in the trigger housing unit.

For the last drawing step, all you need to do is draw out the trigger mechanism. Next, sketch in all the detailing lines for the handle or handgun grip like so, and then draw in the grooves for the hand grip. Detail the slide stop lever, and then mak

Description: When it comes to guns the Glock is probably one of the most talked about hand held weapons on the market. Today I wanted to make a lesson that will teach you "how to draw a handgun", step by step. This particular gun in the picture or thumbnail is the Glock 34 9mm. I already have a lesson on a handgun, but since my grandfather just recently bought one of these guns I wanted to make another tutorial on a handgun. The Glock 34 is what you call a practical/tactical and it was made to be one of the most accurate guns made today. The Glock 34 has an extended barrel, longer distance between the front and rear sights, and a better slide mechanism. This handgun takes a 9x19 caliber bullet, and the 34 is about eight inches long from tip to back. The magazine holds seventeen bullets, but you can also purchase clips that hold nineteen or thirty rounds. Another reason why I like the Glock 34 is because the disassembly is almost like taking apart an AK-47. There is only three pieces to take apart when you want to clean the gun to specifications, and the power behind each shot will make your ears ring. My granddad has the desert tan model which is the one you see in this tutorial, and even though it’s not all black, I still think it’s a good looking handgun. This is a big gun, and the Glock 34 is not a common gun to come by. I have read some articles where avid Glock enthusiast had a hard time finding the 34. My grandfather bought the gun used but it is in mint condition. I am so very happy that he has a new gun that I can target practice with whenever I go and see him. I had fun with this lesson, and I think you will enjoy learning "how to draw a handgun", step by step as well. I have to go because there is much more work that needs to be done.
