Description: Halloween characters are sometimes the best type of characters to draw. There is a wide variety of monsters, objects, and things that can drawn to your liking. If you look in the Halloween section of the seasonal category you will find so many different tutorials on everything Halloween. There is one thing however I still haven’t submitted, but that is about to change today. I am going to teach you “how to draw a ghoul step by step”. Does anybody even know what a ghoul is? Well, at first I didn’t know what these creatures where until I read about them. I found that they are very interesting and fun beings. A ghoul is a mythical monster/creature from old Arabian folklore. These monsters hang around or linger on cemetery grounds as well as other undesirable places. The name for this monster actually means “demon” and it is said that ghouls are sired by Iblis, which is what the Islamic people call the devil. Believe it or not there is actually a female version of this beast and they are called ghouleh. Now it is said that ghouls are shape shifters and they will often take the form of hyenas. Now I am sure that there is a bunch of different interpretations as to what a ghoul actually looks like and is. To me they are knarly looking monsters that resemble zombies and demons combined. I drew an awesome depiction on how I believe the ghoul to look according to different descriptions and such. The background came out wicked awesome because it is a stinky old burial ground and he is a monster of the night. Now I know why they always combine the two Halloween monsters together whenever they describe what lurks around cemetery grounds, ghouls and ghosts. I do hope you guys like this tutorial on “how to draw a ghoul step by step. I will be back momentarily with more drawing fun so stay tuned and happy drawing.
