How to Draw a Cougar
3
Draw some curves to the snout. Sketch out a foot like shape indicating the mouth. I know it looks kinda like a dragon right now. Lol...
4
Don't forget to add the nose to the big cat! Add the ears to your cougar as well. See how the cougar is shaping out?!
6
My favorite part! Let's design the shape of the shape of the teeth. Make these nicely bare too. Another detail too, is the nostrils.
7
Add the eyebrow to eyes and the some lining around the mouth. Since our cougar is snarling, you'll have to add wrinkles towards the nose. This indicates that your cat is hissing with fury.

Description: The Cougar is one of the largest solitary cats of any wild animal in the Western Hemisphere. In this tutorial, I will show you how to draw a Cougar with these instructional steps. First I began my drawing using a reference. What’s a reference you ask? It’s a picture of a Cougar that I looked at then redrew it in my own way. I didn’t copy it I just freehanded on my own. After hours of sketching, I scanned it into my computer. Then I opened my Photoshop CS program and redrew the lines. This is an essential technique I use to make my lines crisp and clean. After that, I color my image (yes the beauty!) and made a tutorial out of it using layers. Ah, I mustn’t tell you my secret on how to make my tutorials! Now that I explained how I drew my awesomeness, I will give you information on this predatory cat. The Cougar is the second heaviest cat in the world. The first is the Jaguar. The cougar’s diet consists of deer, sheep, horses, and even sometimes rodents or insects. Just like a kitty! This all sums up to you having fun learning from this inspirational tutorial!
