Sketch out the shape of the griffin's head making sure that you form the feathery ears properly. The shape of the face should be pointed at the chin. When that is done draw the lid of the Santa hat like so, the proceed to step three.

Using the facial guidelines, draw out the oval shapes for the eyes then draw in the eyeballs. You will then draw the small beak which is being viewed and drawn from the front view. When that is done you can finish drawing the Santa hat.

Now that the head, face and hat is all done we can tackle the task of drawing the body. You need to draw the thick neck like so, then sketch out the chest, front thighs, and then the lower parts of the legs. The lining should resemble hair, fur or fe

Complete the body by drawing out the back end, stomach, hind legs, back feet and front talons. Add the detailing to the legs and body like so.

Finally for the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the long tail, and then draw the griffin wings. Make sure that you add enough feather detailing to the wings.

When you've erased the mistakes your drawing should come out looking like the one you see here. Now you cal color in the griffin using holiday colors.
