Description: Chipmunks are those little black, white and tan looking animals that always seem to elude you when you get to close. They hide in tree holes and barrows that they dig up in the ground. Chipmunks have black and white stripes on there fuzzy coats of fur, and are a part if the squirrel family. These little animals live around tress and bushes, infact if you have tress or a couple of bushes in your back yard then you have chipmunks for neighbors. These backyard pets are pleasant and fun animals with a lot of character and serve a greater purpose then most people think. What purpose do they serve you ask? They make you smile when you see them run across you or when you see them playing in your back yard, and I don’t know about you but most people I know have such dry personalities that I mainly laugh at myself let alone someone making me laugh. So I figure if a little old chipmunk can put a smile on my face, then he just served a purpose in my book. These fuzzy little friends are mainly spread throughout the United States and Canada. Even though chipmunks like squirrels are expert climbers they spend most of their time on the ground near their little homes in the ground so they have easy access to evade any form of threat. They even make noise too, it’s a high pitched whistle that chips to lower chuck sounds, hence the name chipmunks. These animals weigh a whopping 2-4 ounces and are huge 10 inches long. Let’s see, what else can I tell you before you learn how to draw the chipmunk? Umm oh yeah they eat seeds, berries, acorns, and of course other nuts, they start there breeding process in early spring and then again in early summer, boy they really do get busy don’t they. I think that pretty much sums it up, now it’s up to you to follow the easy to read instructions. There is only 4 simple steps to start you on your way, who knows maybe this will help you how to draw Alvin and the chipmunks as well.
