How to Draw a Cartoon Creature

Step 1.


To start this first step for the cartoon creature you will first draw the circle shapes and guidelines. Start with the shape of the head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw a vertical line that will connect the head and body together. Draw    

Step 2.


You will start step two by drawing out the shape of the cartoon creatures torso and arms. You will then draw the shape of the eyes, nostril holes, and crease in between the eyes.

Step 3.


Now you can start sketching out the shape of the cartoon creatures head and make sure that the mouth is open. Once that shape of the head is drawn out you will draw the eyeball stems and then you can move to the next step.

Step 4.


Draw the circular eyeballs and then draw the eyes. Draw the sharp pointed teeth and then detail inside of the ears. You will then thicken the shape of the arms and detail the stomach and fill it with muscles. The last thing to draw is the long finger   

Step 5.


Draw the rest of the hands and fingers and then draw the thighs of this cartoon creature and make sure you draw the finger claws and or nails.

Step 6.


This is the last drawing step and all you have to do is finish drawing out the legs and then the clawed feet. Draw the hint of a tail in the back and start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 7.


Here is what your sketch should come out looking like when you are done. You can color in this monster or leave it be as a sketch. I hope you had fun with this tutorial on "how to draw a cartoon creature step by step.

Description: I wanted to get this next tutorial that I am about to submit up yesterday, but I had to change the background. The original background was very dark which made the character blend in with the layout. Now that I have fixed the background I will show you "how to draw a cartoon creature" step by step. Cartoon aliens, monsters, and beast are basically all the same in general. The only difference is that they belong to a different race which makes them different in that matter. I think that this creature came out pretty cool, I also like the way the line art sketch of the monster creature came out. Anyways I think you guys will have fun with this tutorial on “how to draw a cartoon creature" step by step. All the guidelines and shapes are laid out easily for you and the instructions are easy to read as well. If you guys have any request for cool cartoon characters just let me know and I will be sure to add it to my request list.
