How to Draw a Bulb

Drawing a light bulb is so incredibly easy. Start with a circle that is the size of a real bulb or the size of your choice. Next draw the guidelines for the filament wire in the middle, and then draw the horizontal lines that make up the metal base.

Now you will draw the exact shape of the bulb itself and then draw the shape of the filament wire. Once that is done you can draw the top of the metal base and then move to the next step. See how easy it is learning how to draw a bulb?

Well, you have already reached your last drawing step. All you need to do now is draw the metal base of the bulb. Once that is done you can then draw draw the electrical contact base. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and

All these ideas are things that almost every person thinks about. What is an image that associates a minds idea? The light bulb. I will be showing you "how to draw a bulb step by step”. The light bulb is an everyday object that everybody uses on a daily basis. Without light bulbs there would be no light in our houses, barns, cars, streets, and even phones. The light bulb was created and developed by a man named Thomas Alva Edison. It was he who created the light bulb back in 1879. Thomas Edison is a man that changed the way people live forever. Without his invention people would still be living in the dark ages. Of course I know that there are still some cultures that live without electricity, and they are perfectly fine with that way of life. As for me, I am absolutely lost without light. Yeah sure I can light a candle or a kerosene lamp, but I like to see in full color and brightness, that is the whole point on experiencing all of the human body's five senses. Without light, there would be darkness. When the day falls dim, you still have a lamp to light your way. A light bulb lights up when filament is heated to incandescence by a electric current. Back in the late 1800's filaments made of carbon was used instead of today's filaments which is tungsten. The light bulb is probably one of the most ingenious things that has ever been created to date. And to think that one man made this creation workable is simply amazing. I think you guys will really enjoy this easy lesson that will teach you “how to draw a light bulb step by step”.
