How to Draw a 3D Fish

The first thing you will need to do is draw the outlined guide shape for the fish.

Define the shape for the beta or your 3D fish. This is the head and mid section of the body.

Sketch out the long soft looking dorsal fin, and when that is done you can move to step four.

Finish drawing the body, then sketch in the soft looking tail fin. Sketch in the edges or tips of the separated tufts.

That's it, you are done after you draw the fins, then draw the eyes. Erase all of the mistakes then you're done.

That's it you are all done. You can color in your 3D fish any shade you like, and you can even add some designing on the surface of the fish.

Description: Here is my attempt to showing you folks on "how to draw a 3D fish". I don't know how I did, but I guess the fish came out pretty good. The body sways and curves perfectly making this pretty blue fish almost touchable. I chose to make this lesson on a beta because to me they are one of the prettiest fish around. Anyways, I hope you find this lesson on drawing a 3D fish useful as well as helpful. I will be back tomorrow with more drawing fun for you all.
