How to Draw Yukine from Noragami

Step 1.


Begin with the framework for the body starting with the head shape, and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Next, sketch out the shape of Yukine's face shape like so, then draw in the lower lobe.

Step 3.


Instead of drawing the shape of the head first, we will draw in Yukine's hair which is shaggy and sort of long. This is just the bangs and some of the hair in the back that will be drawn in. Also, you might want to make the hint of the right ear lobe   

Step 4.


We will utilize the facial guidelines to draw out Yukine's eyes. The top eye lid lines should be dark, or bold like so. Add the thin lined eyebrow and then add a nose and mouth.

Step 5.


Up next, we will step aside from the face and draw in the adorable knit hat with the long tassels. You will add fluff balls at the end of the tassels as you can see here.

Step 6.


Draw in the hat's design pattern which is in two strips. Add the zigzag shapes across the middle of the two strips like you see here.

Step 7.


Up next, draw in the circular puff ball at the top of the hat and then proceed to step eight.

Step 8.


Next, Yukine's neck shape like so, then draw the hood for the hoodie sweater that he is wearing. Add the shirt line under the sweater like so and then the stripes on hood.

Step 9.


We will finish the drawing by sketching out the shoulders, arms or sleeves and then the torso. Add the wrinkling to the sweater as well as the creases. Erase all the mistakes and guidelines then you're done.

Step 10.


That's it. You can color in your drawing of Yukine from Noragami.

This character is so awesome looking. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Noragami anime/manga series, but I can tell you judging by the looks of Yukine, it must be a good series. I visually love everything about Yukine. The hat, sweater, hair, facial expression, just about everything is awesome. Even though I don't know anything about this character from Noragami, I really enjoyed drawing him out and I hope all you fans do too. I shall return so still stay strapped to your seat.
