How to Draw the Pyramids of Giza, Pyramids of Giza

Start by making your first triangle for the first of three pyramids.

Next, draw in another triangle for the second pyramid like so, and make sure that it is larger than the first.

Draw the third pyramid which is in the distance, then move along to step four.

In this step you will be drawing the back parts of the pyramids. This will add to the actual structure, as well as add depth.

Now what we need to do is lightly, and carefully sketch out the detailing to the pyramids which is basically sketching out the bricks that are visible in this drawing. Take your time so your pyramids some out looking pretty real.

When you are done, they should come out looking a lot like the ones you see here. You can use what you have leaned to make a cool desert background, or you can just color in your finished work and call it a day.

Description: So today I thought it would be very educational if I made a lesson on something out of Egypt. Up next, we will learn "how to draw the Pyramids of Giza", step by step. These pyramids are also called or known as Pyramid of Khufu, and the Pyramid of Cheops. These triangular shaped structures are located on the border of El Giza located in Egypt. People who study Ancient Egyptian history think that the Great Pyramid was built to be a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BCE. When you first see one of these pyramids you stand in amazement and awe of their structural beauty and complexity. It is said that each brick laid is about three feet high or up to an average persons waist. Just looking up towards the point of the pyramid makes one think how in the world did people of those days have the type of technology to make such massive, uniformed buildings using only rope, wood, and hands. Of course we all know that it wasn't slaves who worked and built the structures as historians believed, it was in fact paid labor workers that most likely did the buildings. Did you know that the Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and biggest of the three pyramids in Giza Necropolis? It’s also true that almost all of the Egyptian pyramids are found by the west banks of the Nile. I also heard that the Great Pyramids of Giza align perfectly with the three stars located in the middle of the consolation Orion. I don’t know how true that is, but if it’s a fact, how cool would that be? Anyways, drawing the Pyramids of Giza will be fun and very educational. So go ahead and grab your rulers because you are going to need them. Adios people and enjoy!
