How to Draw One Direction Cartoon

Start off by drawing five ovals, spaced quite far apart to leave plenty of room for the bodies.

Now draw in the boys' top halves. A blazer for harry, a tee shirt for Louis, jumper for Niall, baseball jacket for Zayn and a shirt for Liam.

Now draw in their trousers and shoes - regular oval-shaped shoes for Harry and Liam, TOMs for Louis and high-tops for Niall and Zayn.

Now draw in their hands and any details on the clothes, including the stripes on Louis's tee shirt, Liam's bow tie, and pockets on some of the boys' trousers.

Next, draw in the boys' faces. They all have slightly different expressions: a cheesy grin for Harry, a cheeky one for Louis, a cute smile for Niall, a cocky smile for Zayn, and an innocent smile for Liam.

Now add their hair. This is reasonably simple to do, but vitally important to get right, since it is such a distinctive feature.

The final step is to colour all of the boys in. Don't feel like you have to stick to these colours - feel free to use whichever you want. I used these colours as they are often seen wearing these typical outfits in these colours.
