How to Draw Okami-san

Make the shape of the head and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Sketch out the facial shape by defining the lining, then draw in Okami's hair or bangs.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the large thick eye lines like so, then draw the eyebrows. When you are done, proceed to step four.

Draw the large shapes of the eyes and then add some thickness under the eyeballs. Add a nose and mouth.

You are almost done. Just cap off the head by drawing the rest of her hairstyle which is long, straight and pointed. You will also need to draw in her neck too.

Finally, draw in the choker around her neck, then draw in the jacket collar or flaps. Be sure to draw in the trimming too on her jacket. Erase all those mistakes (if you made any), then get rid of the guides.

Here is Okami-san when you are all done. Now just color her in. That's it, I know that wasn't too hard for ya'll.

Description: For those of you who know the series, the figure you see before you know is the main character from the manga Ōkami-san. I was asked if I could make a tutorial on "how to draw Ōkami" and so here she is. Ryōko Ōkami is a tomboyish like girl who is a member of Otogi High School Bank. The series is noted as being a romantic comedy that poke fun at some fairy tale favorites like red Riding Hood and so forth. Drawing Okami is not only going to be easy, but you will enjoy the task because she is cool character.
