How to Draw Morrigan, Morrigan, Darkstalkers

Begin with a circle for the head and then draw out the lining that will form the shoulders, arms, and torso like so. Morrigan is standing straight up with a slight arch to her back. Add the face guide and proceed on.

The first thing you will do here is sketch out the shape of her face, and then begin drawing out her hair bangs first. The bangs are sort of spaced and pointed.

Using the one facial guide that you drew in step one, you will begin drawing out the shapes of her eyes, and then draw in the eyebrows. The top lid of her eye should be thick and bold. Add some lashes, and then make a simple dash for the nose and mou

What you will be doing here is drawing out Morrigan's long straight hair that is waving about in the breeze. The ends of her hair are spaced apart like so, and then she has these shorter pieces near her face.

All you have to do here is sketch out her neck, shoulders, and the top part of her torso which is also the shapes of her breast. You can draw in some of her right arm too as well as line past her arm which is part of her top.

Sketch out the other breast, and be sure that it is big not small. Morrigan's character is supposed to have big breasts. Once that is done, begin drawing out the flaps of her top and as you can see the lining is soft looking, almost like feathers. Sk

Just draw out her left arm and hand like so, and then be sure to add that point on the top of her hand which is part of the arm sock.

Now you will repeat the same process by drawing in her right arm, but as you can see the hand is cut off in the picture. Add some definition to her arm sock, and then proceed to step nine.

You are almost done guys, just a litter further to go. Sketch out her body and as you can see the pose is very sexual. Make sure the hips are wide, and the leotard is high cut. There is a heart cut out of her top and this is like a hole which will sh

And finally, you will have to draw out both sets of wings. I would start with the smaller wings first and notice how they are bat like in style. Draw out the small wings on the sides of her head, and then draw in her demon wings on her back like so.

Here is what your demon girl looks like when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color her in to really make this figure pop. I hope you all had fun drawing Morrigan from Darkstalker.

Description: What’s up guys, welcome back to another fun filled lesson on Dragoart.com. Today I will start by uploading a tutorial that was supposed to go up on Friday. The reason why I waited a couple of days is because I was swamped and couldn't finish what I had to do. I already uploaded the video for “how to draw Morrigan" at Youtube, but having a regular step by step lesson on Dragoart would be better I think. Anyways, if you guys are familiar with Darkstalkers, you should know that in the beginning Morrigan started out being a character from a video game. That’s right, Darkstalkers was released as a video game from Capcom, and later on it developed into a manga, and anime series. Morrigan’s character is a succubus. For those of you that don’t know what a succubus is let me explain. Back in medieval times, folks believed that there where female demons that used to come to people in their dreams. This demon would appear as a human woman, and they used to seduce men. If a man had a dream such as this, his fate would usually end with getting sick or even dyeing at some point. Anyways, that is what Morrigan is suppsed to be. She is a very pretty woman with long straight light green hair. She wears a leotard that is black in color and purple leggings. One of the cool things about her is how she has a small set of wings that come out from the sides of her head, and a pair of regular demon like wings on her back. She has the ability to turn her wings into either spikes or blades, or even form a shield to block blows as she is fighting. Morrigan can also detach her wings from her back and turn them into a cloud at first, and then a whole bunch of bats will form and hoover over the enemy. Darkstalkers is pretty cool, and if you like the game you should enjoy learning "how to draw Morrigan" as well. I will be back soon with more drawing fun guys so stay tuned in.
