How to Draw Madoka Kaname, Medoka from Puella Magi

Step 1.


Let us begin with making a circle for the head, then draw the shoulders to create the torso. Sketch in some facial guidelines, then move to step two.

Step 2.


Here you will sketch in the round shape of the head. When that is done you will draw out the bangs which frame out the entire face. The bangs should be sharp and pointed.

Step 3.


Now you can draw the shape of Madoka's face shape along with her eyes, eyebrows, nose and friendly smile.

Step 4.


Next up, you will finish drawing her pigtails followed by the ties in her hair.

Step 5.


You are almost done drawing this anime figure. What you have to do now is draw in her neck, then sketch out the collar, shoulders and some of her arms in the form of her jacket or shirt.

Step 6.


Sketch in the remainder of her sleeves, then draw in the choker, pendant hanging from her choker, then draw in the straps for her shirt as well as the ruffled lining. Don't forget to add the detailing to her neck and clothes. Erase the mistakes then    

Step 7.


Here is Madoka now that you have finished. All that's left is the task of coloring her in. Great work guys!

Description: I’m pretty sure that this is my last lesson based on an anime figure, but I could be wrong. Up next this tutorial will be on drawing Madoka Kaname from the anime ‘Puella Magi’. Even though she is small, Madoka is the lead figure or protagonist in the series. She is a fourteen year old cheerful girl that has a lot of energy and love. Her day consists of being around those she loves as well as being surrounded by her good friends. I think Madoka is an adorable character, and this is actually my first time even seeing her. I personally never heard of Puella Magi, but I know a lot of you faithful anime/manga attics do. It was really fun creating a lesson which will enable you to draw Madoka.
