Description: I am really excited to be uploading this next lesson because I was, and kind of still am a huge fan of this animated character. I will be showing you "how to draw Littlefoot" from The Land Before Time step by step. Now I have to say, I grew up watching all the movies from “The Land Before Time” and I enjoyed every one of them. Recently for the past year or so, my baby sister has been getting into the movie series and she is actually the one that requested Littlefoot as a tutorial. At first I was a bit skittish about doing this lesson, but then I thought that it was a brilliant idea because there are thousands of people that watched this movie and were and still are fans of every character that stars in the movie. Littlefoot is a baby Apatosaurus or “longneck” that lost his mother due to a battle with a sharptooth. After she died it was up to Littlefoot to find his way to the Great Valley with the directions that his mother gave him just before she died. He was to meet up with his grandparents once he got there. Littlefoot had a difficult time trying to find his way to the promised lands. Along the way he picked up a few stragglers that too were trying to find their family. First he meets Cera the triceratops or “threehorn”, and then he runs into Ducky the parasaurolophus or “bigmouth”. They later meet up with a pteranodon or “flyer” named Petrie who they automatically got along with. The last dino-friend they meet up with is Spike who happens to be in his egg still and seems to be too lazy to hatch. Spike is a stegosaurus or “spiketail” and it is Ducky that names him Spike. The two later become brother and sister because Spike doesn’t have a family looking for him so Ducky’s mother adopts him as one of her own. The four dino-toddlers travel together until they find their families at the Great Valley. There is a total of thirteen movie series and with each one none of the dinosaurs grow bigger which is kind of odd. But if they did grow bigger, I guess kids wouldn’t want to watch them right? Anyways, this lesson will show you how to draw Littlefoot from The Land Before Time step by step. This is a very easy tutorial to follow and I know once you are done you will have a smile on your face. I shall return yet again with more drawing fun so like always stay tuned.
