How to Draw Kratos

Step 1.


Okay start this step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a mannequin like frame fro Kratos. You will draw out a small circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. Once that is done sketch out the shape of his muscular torso an   

Step 2.


Now in this next step you will start drawing out his trapezoid muscles which is the muscles above the collar bone. Once that is done sketch out the shape of his jaw and left ear. Add more lines for his forearms and then start sketching out his torn l   

Step 3.


Now that you have made it to step three you will start sketching out the shape of his face which includes his eyes, nose and mouth. Then you will sketch in his beard and start detailing his inner arms with muscles. On the right forearm you will sketc   

Step 4.


You have now made it to step four and I know it must have been a challenge so far. But no worries because you are close to being done. What you will do first in this step is detail his face better and then start adding definition to his torso which i   

Step 5.


You have now made it to step five and now that you are here you will finish everything up. You will first add the loose chain on his left arm and detail the blade a lot more including his hand. Once that is done draw out the rest of the tattoos on Kr   

Step 6.


Once you are done your drawing of Kratos should come out looking like this after it is all cleaned up. I was going to upload the sketch of Kratos, but I figured this would be better. All you have to do now is color him in and your set. I hope you had

Description: Alright people, I know a lot of you love to play tons of video games nowadays, so today I am going to make an awesome tutorial on how to draw the bad character Kratos from God of War! I haven’t really played this game, but I watched my brother and his friend play it. It’s like a third person game. You get to be a character named Kratos and attack enemies. I’m not too keen on what the game is about; all my brother told me is that he was the captain of Sparta's army and lives to serve the Gods for forgiveness. All this happened after he was a servant for Ares. That is all I know for now but I can tell you that this tutorial was a request from a few members and I never forget a request. Alright, maybe sometimes I do, but definitely not this time. A member asked me to make a tutorial on this character so I did. I loved the concept of this video game character. He looks so mean and awesome! Oh yeah did I forget to tell all of you that I seen "The Dark Knight" movie? I LOVED IT! The movie was so epic and dark. You don’t understand how awesome it was! Anyways, know that I’m back on the Kratos tutorial topic; I want to tell you how this drawing started out…get ready for a long Dragon_Queen adventure. I looked at several pictures of Kratos to use as a reference. I can tell you that he was a really difficult character to draw and make a pose of that can capture his power. I sketched out like three different versions of him in odd poses but nothing looked good. Finally I came up with this one. It took me like 2 hours just to get him in this pose. Anyways, I scanned the image into Photoshop and worked on it some more. I wanted to make the image realistic like for his skin, cuts, chains, clothes. After I’ve succeeded at that I worked on the background. The older background looked like parchment. I didn’t like how it was so…blah. I got a picture that I found online and pasted it behind Kratos. I photo manipulated the background to make it look like Kratos was right there in it. It took me a while but eventually I succeeded and conquered this difficult goal. I absolutely love the way he came out down to the last drop of blood. This tutorial will show you how to draw Kratos from God of War step by step. I hope you like this lesson, I worked extremely hard on it and I also hope that you will too when trying to draw Kratos out.
