How to Draw Konan

Since you will be drawing Konan from the back, this lesson will be a little less difficult. To start draw a circle for her head and then add the line for the neck. Next, draw the entire outline of her body which is enclosed by a cloak. Draw the shape

Draw the collar that is totally erect and it also should cover the entire back part of her neck. You will then start sketching out the outlining of her hair and shoulders.

Sketch out her hair style which is in two side buns, and then draw the side view of her pretty face. Add an ear, and her eyes, and then draw the shape of her chest as you see here. Sketch out the sleeve to full length, and then draw the arch of her b

Sketch out her hand and then draw the paper that she is holding between her fingers. You will then add some detailing to the cloak, and then draw her other low hanging hand. Next sketch the rest of the shape for her cloak and then add a cloud.

For your last drawing step, sketch out another cloud, and then draw out her legs and shoes. Add some detailing to the shoe design and erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

When you're done Konan should come out looking like the one you see here. Color her in and you have yourself a finished sketch of this Naruto character.

Description: The Akatsuki is a group of characters from the Naruto series. I have almost all of them drawn out and submitted as tutorials, and I plan on doing them all. This tutorial is going to add to that number by showing you “how to draw Konan, step by step”. Unlike most of the other members, this character is a female and she is wicked cool. She is paired up with Pain and she is the only one that calls him by his real name which is “Nagato”. She is what you call a survivor in all essence of the word. She essentially raised herself after her family was killed when the Second Great Shinobi World War took place. Years passed and she came or stumbled across a boy that was young and dying. His name was Nagato and he was accompanied with his dog Chibi. The two became close friends and started their travels together. Most of this description was already told before when I submitted the lesson on Pain, so I will skip to the part when the three travelers became a larger group and started to be recognized for their strength and power as a unit. Konan keeps a paper flower in her hair, and she can be described as having short blue hair, gray colored eyes, and a very compassionate, smart, level headed character. She manipulates things made from paper using her chakra like paper weapons, and so forth. She can also transform herself into a thousand sheets of paper using her technique called “Dance of the Shikigami”. One of the cooler things that I watched her do is use her chakra fused with paper wings. I love her look, and I also love the tension between her and Pain. Pain loves Konan, and I'm pretty sure that she loves him too. Most of you will enjoy learning “how to draw Konan” because she is an awesome character.
