How to Draw Grunkle Stan, Gravity Falls

Step 1.


Begin by making a circle for his head, then sketch in some facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Here you will draw in the large framed glasses, then draw in two eyeballs. Add the nose and proceed on.

Step 3.


Grunkle wears one of those cup style hats, draw this in as well as the framing for the glasses, the shape of his face, and his large old man ears.

Step 4.


You will only need to draw out the large expressive mouth which is wide open, as well as the teeth, tongue, and wrinkles around the mouth. Finish the eyes, then add detailing to the hat and ears. Don't forget to draw in that tassel that is hanging.

Step 5.


Body time! Start with the shoulders, then draw out the spread out arms. You will also need to draw the entire torso as well as the lining or design of his open jacket.

Step 6.


Finish drawing the collar of the jacket, then give Grunkle a tie. Draw in a button then add some pinch wrinkle lines too. Erase the mistakes that you may have made along the way.

Step 7.


Here he is, all dressed up and ready to entertain. I hope you had fun with drawing Grunkle Stan.

Description: How about some more characters from the cartoon series that airs on the Disney Channel? I decided that I would make more tutorials on the cast from Gravity Falls. Since I already did Dipper, and another artist did Mabel, here is "how to draw Grunkle Stan", step by step. Stan is as you my know Dipper and Mabel's great uncle. He owns and runs a place called 'Mystery Shack', and he is without a doubt one of the weirdest characters on the show. The Mystery Shack is a quirky place filled with strange, unusual, and mysterious things. Tourist will often pass through not knowing what was going to hit them when they walked through the door. Grunkle likes to give the tours, but I don't know which he likes better, giving tours or sleeping? He is a very energetic fella for his age which means his niece and nephew have to stay on their toes so Grunkle Stan find out what the kids are up to. Drawing Grunkle Stan should be easy enough for anyone to try. If you come across a few bumps in the road, just stop what you're doing and try again.
