How to Draw Goth Pocahontas

Artist: Dawn / August 12, 2013

Step 1.

The first thing you will do here is sketch out the shape of the head and torso like so. Then you will draw in the facial guidelines as well as the neck and torso guideline.

Step 2.

Using the head guide you just made sketch out the shape of the face as well as her ear. Add detailing to side of her head, then move to step three.

Step 3.

Using the facial guidelines draw the eyebrows, shapes of her eyes, then draw the nose and mouth. Make sure to add the lips and piercings not only on her eyebrow, but in her ear as well.

Step 4.

Sketch out the shape of her neck, followed by the shoulders and arms which are crossed over one another. Draw the hairline and then move to step five.

Step 5.

We will tackle this step by sketching out her top which is a sleeves half shirt. Draw her band on her arm, then sketch in the hand. You will also add some Native American accessories like a couple necklaces, and bracelets. Add detailing to her clothe

Step 6.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in her really long straight hair. Add the detailing strand lines like so, then sketch out the shape of her body. Draw the belly ring, and then you can erase all the mistakes.

Step 7.

This is the line art once you are all done. Now color her in to really have some fun.

Description: Looking at this colored drawing now I would have changed a lot of things like the tone of her skin, tattoos, and even the choice of clothing I have her. Despite what I would do different, I will still show you "how to draw goth Pocahontas", step by step. Pocahontas is probably one of the more popular characters from the Disney franchise and it's not because she is a Disney Princess. It's mainly due to the fact that she is a Native American princess who has a very strong since of character. I love her style even if it's just as simple as they get. I think you will enjoy drawing my goth version of Pocahontas because she still rocks it. Peace out mi amigos.
