Description: Well I hope you all liked the first lesson that I submitted today on how to draw an anthro cat woman step by step. For my third tutorial of the day I will be showing you "how to draw Buddha". Now everyone is familiar with the Buddha and his big belly. As the tale or saying goes, when you rub the belly of a Buddha statue and make a wish, all your wishes will come true. Of course that is all myth and fables. The truth is, the real Buddha was not even fat at all. The name Buddha means “one who has achieved a state of perfect enlightenment”. The creator and founder of Buddhism, was started by a man named Siddhārtha Gautama. This man was said to be a spiritual teacher that resided in the northern subcontinent of India. No one really knows when he was born or when he died. All historians really know is that his existence took place between 563 BCE to 483 BCE and even though these are estimated dates there are also some scholars that believe he died in 400 BCE. Buddha practiced spiritually with meditation and Anapana-sati which means the ability to to calmly breath in and out. There was one music performer that turned to Buddhism to try and change her life because she couldn’t do it by herself. This talented performers name is Anna Mae Bullock or as we know her Tina Turner. During her involvement with her long time husband Ike Turner, Tina was repeatedly beat by her husband and like most battered woman, she always seemed to think it was normal or her fault. After a while she started realising that she needed to take a drastic move to some how get her life back together. After a run in with one of her good friends, she was introduced to Buddhism and taught herself how to chant and meditate. When someone chooses to be a Buddhist, they are forever making a life change. This tutorial will show you "how to draw Buddha, step by step". I hope that you will all have fun with this lesson because I had an awesome time drawing him out. I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun so stay tuned for more free online lessons. Peace out!
