Description: Well you have seen my first character from the Jungle Book series that I think I did a very good job on. The reason why I chose to do tutorials on these characters from The Jungle Book is because I watched the movie last night by myself on DVD. Why am I watching Disney movies alone you ask? Well I can only answer that question truthfully and as weird as it may seem at least I’m not lying right? I initially wanted to watch The Jungle Book because I wanted to hear some of the songs like “Bear Necessities” and “I Want to Be like You” which is sung by a crazed Orangutan named King Louie. But instead I found myself searching for the three main characters that I decided to draw from the flick. So in this tutorial I will show you how to draw Bagheera from The Jungle Book who happens to be the Black Panther that initially found Mowgli when he was just a baby. Bagheera finds a wicker basket floating down a stream with a crying man baby inside. He didn’t want to leave the young man cub in the basket and risk that he would die, so he sneakily dropped the baby off in front of the wolf hole of a new mother that just gave birth to a litter of wolf cubs. Bagheera was pleased to see that she accepted him as one of her own. Over time he was there watching over the young man cub as he grew older and they soon became very good friends. In the movie Bagheera’s character is very smart, serious, resourceful, and careful. His main focus in the movie is to get young Mowgli to the man village safely, and as soon as possible. In this tutorial I will show you how easy it is to draw Bagheera from The Jungle Book step by step. In my next tutorial I will show you how to draw Baloo as well. I will be back with more drawing fun so don’t go far and remember stay creative and take your time when you draw. Patience is virtue.
