How to Draw Astral, Astral from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal

Artist: Dawn / April 21, 2013

Step 1.

Make the two shapes for the guides of Astral which is the head and torso. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the body guides.

Step 2.

Next, use the guides you just made to create the structure of Astral's face frame which sort of looks like a heart. Draw in the pointed ear, then proceed to step three.

Step 3.

Using the facial guidelines you will draw the wispy shaped cat like eyes, then draw the wide V shaped lining on Astral's forehead. Draw and color in the markings on his cheeks, then add detailing inside of his ear. Also, make small detailed circles a

Step 4.

All you will do here is draw the long spiked chunks of hair to form Astral's style. Add detailing to his hair which runs straight down the middle of each chunk.

Step 5.

Here you will sketch out the outline for Astral's body. This is only the shoulders, torso and arms. Add some muscle tone to the arms, then move to step six.

Step 6.

All that needs to be done here is the addition to the stomach and chest definition in the forms of muscle lines. Add the lining for the collar bone, then draw in some neck detailing. Erase your mistakes then you're done.

Step 7.

Your line art should look like the one you see here. Color in Astral and call it done.

Description: The second figure from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal is actually the second main character from the series. Here is "how to draw Astral", step by step. Astral is a spirit from another part of existence and he can only be seen and heard by Yuma. This spirit is lives in Yuma's Emperor Key which is how Yuma is always able to access him and vise versa. Drawing Astral will be easier than drawing Yuma because he is a lot less detailed than Yuma. Either way you will have fun so make sure to leave some feedback as to what you think of the lesson, and of the series. Peace out people I will be back soon.
