How to Draw Alpha the Doberman Pinscher from Up

Step 1.


First draw two shapes, one for the head and one for the body. Draw facial guidelines in the head shape and then draw a vertical line going straight through the body. Add two limb lines as well.

Step 2.


Now you will start to sketch out the shape of Alpha's head and large pointed Doberman ears. When you have finished this task, you will use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes as well as color them in, the bridge of Alpha's nose, and the tip of   

Step 3.


Wow look how fierce Alpha looks. You will now start sketching in the dog marking lines and then finish off the shape and detailing of his head, ears and face as you see it drawn for you here. Once that is done move down a bit to start drawing out the   

Step 4.


Up is supposed to be a great movie, so why not do a great job when it comes to working on this step: how to draw Alpha's body! What you will do first is finish the collar and then add the definition and detailing shapes on the collar as well. Once th   

Step 5.


More detailing to the collar and then start sketching out the Doberman markings on Alpha's chest. Next draw out the position and shape of his hind legs and back paws.

Step 6.


You will finish off this last drawing step by drawing the rest of Alpha's legs and front paws. Finish the hind legs and belly and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes you drew in step one to prepare your Disney character for some color.

Step 7.


Once you are done you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. All that is left to do now is coloring him in and you have just finished this tutorial on "how to draw Alpha the Doberman Pinscher from Up" step by step.

Description: I see that you guys liked the character I submitted from the new Disney Pixar movie “Up”. That's really good to see because I have another character for you right now from the very same flick. This time I thought I would draw a character that is villain based. So get ready to learn “how to draw Alpha the Doberman Pinscher from Up” step by step. Now Alpha is the pack leader out of all the dogs and he works for his master “Charles F Muntz”. The whole purpose of Alpha’s job is to seek out and capture a very rare thirteen foot bird species that resides inside of a jungle called “Paradise Falls”. To aid Alpha and his crew to success, they are equipped with high tech collars that give them abilities that normal dogs don’t have. Now Dug the dog on Russell and old man Carl’s team, also has a high tech collar as well. Helping Alpha with his search and find adventure is a strong Rottweiler named “Beta” who is also Alpha’s lieutenant, and of course he has another team member named Gamma and he is a tough Bulldog who acts as Alpha’s hench-men. Together they are on a mission to find the rare bird and to stop anybody that gets in their way. I really did have a ton of fun drawing out this character and I will draw and submit more tutorials on “how to draw Disney Up characters” in the future.
