How to Draw a Tank For Kids

You will first draw out the tacks or base of the tank. The shape you see here looks like a twinkie.

Next, add the lining to create the base and tracks for your tank. Notice the small circles for the wheels.

On the other side of the shape you made in step one, draw the track and then add the small striped lines to define the texture of the track.

Begin drawing the barrel of the cannon or gun on the tank like you see here.

Lastly, draw the hull, then add the hole for barrel, and you can add last minute detailing to the top portion of your tank. When you are done erase your mistakes.

Here is the tank all ready to be colored in. I bet you did a great job with drawing a tank for kids.

Description: I have a good amount of lessons that will be put in the 'for kids' section. having said that, here is "how to draw a tank for kids", step by step. Tanks are among the list of most popular vehicles so I wanted to make a tank in a style that was cool so a lot of kids, or people in general will tackle this lesson. The idea or inspiration of the tank came from New Grounds because I have always liked their tank and how it looks like one of those plastic toys you get in a bag with a bunch of army men.
