When I say this, it means that this lesson is going be on a very unique creation that can swim like a fish, and bite like a shark. I was looking over some of “teton's” link submissions, and I found that one of them gets a good amount of views. This lesson is going to show you “how to draw a submarine", step by step. Submarines are what you call 'watercrafts' that operate under the water, or sea to be exact. The outer design of a sub looks like a torpedo minus the propeller. These machines are very bland in shape, size, and design. Did you know that the word 'submarine' actually means 'under the sea'. If you want to classify these vessels, they would fall in the boat category. Any water traveling units are considered to be boats. This means the word 'boat' describes many different concepts of a water based vehicle. When was the first submarine used by the military? That was during the American Civil War back in 1864. It was a vessel called the “CSS Hunley”, which belonged to the Confederate States Navy. After that, these weapons where used to launch attacks either above water, or below. In general the construction of a submarine has more then a few control surfaces. There is two parts to the top of this moving torpedo; the sail, and the foreplanes. Move along the back of the unit, and you will run into the tailplanes, and propeller. Then there is four different sections under the belly of the sub too; the rear rim tank, the main ballast tanks, and then the forward trim tank. The main ballast tanks is dead center of the submarine. The construction to this vessel is unique, and yet very simple. I will show you "how to draw a submarine", step by step, and with the lesson, I show you different points of view of the sub.
