How to Draw a Knight For Kids

Step 1.

Start off by making a circle for the head, then add a facial guideline.

Step 2.

Using the circle you just made, sketch out the shape of the knight's head along with the grill that covers the entire face.

Step 3.

You will now finish drawing the neck and then make the shape for the shoulders which is cloth instead of steel.

Step 4.

You will now add a grate for the front part of the Knight's helmet like so, then add a seam line down the side of the neck. Detail the bolt that holds the plate on, and you are ready for step five.

Step 5.

Add the feather on top of the helmet like so, and you are done for now.

Step 6.

Now you can finish off this knight by drawing the rest of the feathery tail that comes out from the helmet. Erase your mistakes when you are done.

Step 7.

Here is the line art when you are finished. Now you can have fun coloring in your knight.

Description: This lesson goes out to all you kids out there or novice artists that have been waiting for a lesson on "how to draw a knight for kids", step by step. I didn't want to go all out and make a full bodied knight because I just wanted things to stay simple. The knight that you will be drawing is from the side which makes it even easier to tackle and recreate. If you feel like drawing a body to attach to the head you can do that as well. Anyways, I do hope you have fun and it would be a good idea to stick around because there is two lessons that I am really proud of that I am going to be submitting. Thanks a lot guys and enjoy.
