Description: I’ve been getting into the Egyptian culture recently and because of that I decided to make a cool tutorial on the jackal. I wanted to make this easy step by step tutorial on how to draw a jackal because of my obsession with Anubis! As you all know Anubis is the god of the underworld. I love the Anubis that plays a role in the “Mummy 2”. There’s like tons of them that have a war with Imhotep’s army. The action in that movie is so incredibly exciting! When I first seen the movie as a kid, I literally kept jumping out of my seat in the movie theater. When I got home after seeing it I acted like one of the Anubis warriors. I know it’s pretty weird but, what can you do? So anyways, I’ve been drawing tons of pictures of Anubis and wanted to post some of them here at my site. Before I do this, I wanted to make a tutorial on how to draw a jackal step by step. Most of you know that the jackal exists in Africa, East Africa, the Middle East, and India. When I read up on a jackal I didn’t know they lived in Africa. I was wondering ‘how did Egyptians know about jackals then?’ So later on I read more about them and found out they live in the Middle East too. The pose of the jackal you will be drawing took me two hours to draw. I struggled with the body and the head. If you were to see the original line art, you’d think its all slop. I didn’t bother to put up the original line art. I know a lot of people use my line art as a coloring page so I pretty much made the lines really clean. I hope this tutorial will help out! Most people are probably not into rare and uncommon animals such as the jackal. Why bother to make a jackal tutorial? I know some people like jackals so I wanted to make a tutorial on how to draw a jackal step by step for those few people who love them! Well, enjoy!
